Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for practising Krav Maga safely. Below is the list of mandatory and optional gear to acquire.
Mandatory PPE
Mouthguard
Mandatory for all practitioners, men and women.
Groin guard (men)
Mandatory protection for all male practitioners.
Groin guard (women)
Mandatory protection for all female practitioners.
Boxing gloves
Essential for protecting the hands during strikes and scenario training.
Shin guards
Mandatory for protecting the shins during strikes and scenario training.
Sports shoes
Mandatory for all training sessions, clean and reserved exclusively for indoor practice.
Optional PPE
Chest protector (women)
Optional but strongly recommended for female practitioners.
Elbow guards
Extra comfort for ground exercises and scenario training.
Knee guards
Extra comfort for ground exercises and scenario training.
Head guard
Optional, useful for scenario training and face-strike work.
