President's Word
Gil GAUTHIER
Ladies, Gentlemen, and friends of the club
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you for this first season.
I know from experience that many people are drawn to our disciplines, but that it is often very difficult to take the first step and walk through a club's door without being accompanied — so I invite you to read these few lines.
Before starting a new practice, we often think "I'm not strong / flexible / motivated enough...", but you shouldn't dwell on these unmotivating or preconceived ideas. On the contrary, stay positive — simply thinking about a new practice means you've already crossed the first barrier.
In this club, you will find a welcome, teaching and support that we hope will fully satisfy you.
Our goal is to allow you to practise KRAV MAGA, SELF-DEFENSE and/or security-related disciplines with the SOCCC method (depending on your choice) in the best possible safety conditions and in a most pleasant environment.
To this end, our instructors are qualified and experienced in the practice of KRAV MAGA and have solid technical and professional backgrounds. Our team will strive to help you progress at your own pace, thanks to individualized guidance.
More than a sport, the practice of our martial art is a school of life. It teaches respect for others, self-control, and the taste for effort, within the legal framework (self-defense law). Whether you come for leisure, personal development in KRAV MAGA, or to learn intervention techniques for professional purposes, our club remains a place of sharing, open to everyone.
Over the course of the year, several seminars will be offered:
- Women-only, for the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women"
- Practical sessions with realistic scenarios
- Multi-discipline sessions
- Expert-led sessions ...
I wish everyone an excellent season, full of progress and great encounters.
Sporting regards!
The President
